1.  What is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?

A CLNC consultant is a registered nurse who has successfully mastered the rigorous CLNC Certification Program developed by the company that pioneered the field of legal nurse consulting.  The CLNC consultant has the expertise to quickly pinpoint and interpret medical and nursing issues in any case involving health, illness, or injury.

3.  Why do Attorneys Need Certified Legal Nurse Consultants?

While the attorney is the legal expert, the CLNC consultant is the expert on the healthcare system and its inner workings.  Nowhere else will you find this level of cost-effective expertise for reviewing medical records and understanding the subtleties of the healthcare system.

2.  When Should You Call a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant?

From the moment a potential case comes in, the CLNC consultant becomes an invaluable asset by identifying the medical issues, screening the case for merit and providing 30 CLNC services relevant to your case. Some examples:

*Assess for alleged damages and/or injuries

* Research and analyze the validity and reliability of research studies.

4. Why Should You Consult with a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant if You're Already Using an MD?

ABOUT ME

M&M Associates Consulting, LLC was founded by Maureen MacDowell, who was driven to expand on her 18+ years of nursing expertise by looking into new opportunities.

Having grown up on Long Island and lived in Arizona and Texas for a while has given me new perspectives. Although it has been an incredible experience, being by the bedside has not been without its difficulties. This RN has been motivated to work harder and learn how to assist with some malpractice and personal injury cases by working with physicians, nurse practitioners, several nurses, and of course patients and their families.

After completing nursing school, I relocated to Arizona and pursued her career for more than five years in a local hospital's telemetry floor. After specializing in hospice care for ten years, I gained experience as a nurse in home health, cardiac rehabilitation, psychiatric, developmentally disabled and blind adult settings.

Hospital training, hospice, and home health experience broadened my skill set.  After 18 years as a RN I am proud to say she is ready to be YOUR Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
